Step away from the pace of everyday life and into An Evening of Bliss — a beautifully curated experience designed for women who are ready to rest, restore, and reconnect with themselves.
This is your invitation to pause… to soften… and to be gently held in an atmosphere of calm and quiet luxury.
Your evening begins with 45 minutes of slow, nourishing movement with Sally Rose Holistics, easing tension from the body and creating space to breathe more deeply. From there, you’ll be guided into a sensory aromatherapy self-massage masterclass with Serene Buddha Holistics, where you’ll learn simple, effective techniques to soothe your nervous system and bring a sense of grounded ease back into your body.
As the evening unfolds, you’ll be invited to fully let go during a deeply restorative sound bath with Angela, allowing the layered tones to wash over you and guide you into a state of profound relaxation.
Throughout the evening, you’ll enjoy wholesome, beautifully prepared snacks and herbal teas, adding to the feeling of gentle indulgence and care.
This is more than an event — it’s a chance to step away from the demands of life and return to yourself. You’ll leave feeling calmer, lighter, and quietly replenished… with practices you can carry into your everyday life.
Spaces are limited to keep the experience intimate.
We advise guests of the following:
Please bring your own yoga mat, plus extra mats/blankets/pillows for comfort during the sound bath.
Wear layers – the barn is heated, but lying in stillness cools the body quickly
Warm drinks are provided, but a water bottle is a good idea too
There are contraindications to sound therapy. Please read them here: https://angelasmiththerapy.com/therapies/#soundbath
If you have any allergies or intolerances, please advise at the time of booking.
Once your place is secured, we can only offer a refund up to 7 days before the event. After this time, no refund can be offered, but you may gift your place to someone else.

There is a unique challenge in being a therapist.
Day after day, we hold space for others. We listen deeply. We witness pain, resilience, uncertainty, growth, and loss. We offer presence, compassion and care, often while navigating the complexities of our own lives.
And yet, how often do we allow ourselves the same attention?
The Restorative Pause is an invitation to step away from the demands of everyday life and professional practice, and into a nurturing space designed specifically for therapists.
Over four peaceful days, you will have the opportunity to slow down, replenish your energy, reconnect with yourself, and reflect on your work from a place of spaciousness rather than obligation.
This retreat is not about fixing, achieving, or becoming a better therapist.
It is about remembering that you are a person first.
Surrounded by nature and held within a supportive community of fellow practitioners, you will be invited to rest, restore, explore, and simply be.
Your retreat experience will include:
- Gentle Yin and Restorative Yoga
- Breathwork practices to calm and regulate the nervous system
- Reiki sessions
- Self-guided walks in beautiful surroundings
- A guided group walk incorporating the principles of Forest Bathing
- Deeply relaxing Sound Baths
- Mindful creative activities and crafts
- Optional peer supervision groups
- Optional CPD sessions facilitated by an experienced Clinical Supervisor
Alongside the programme, there will be ample time for solitude, reflection, conversation, journalling, reading, and rest.
Whether you are feeling tired, seeking inspiration, navigating professional challenges, or simply recognising the need to pause before burnout takes hold, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to turn your attention inward.
Imagine returning home feeling calmer, clearer, more grounded and reconnected with the qualities that first drew you to therapeutic work.
Not depleted.
Not overwhelmed.
But nourished.
Join us for four days of restoration, reflection, gentle learning and meaningful connection.
Because the people who spend their lives caring for others deserve care too.
