1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Angela Smith Therapy website and any services, events, or purchases made through it. By using our website or making a booking or purchase, you agree to these terms.

Angela Smith Therapy is operated by Angela Smith. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Our Services

We offer the following through this website:

Sound bath and retreat event bookings via EventOn and WooCommerce
Gift tokens purchasable via our online shop
Physical products (available in the shop — shipping terms apply where relevant)

Individual therapy appointments are arranged directly by phone or email following an initial enquiry. They are not booked or paid for online.

3. Event Bookings

3.1 Booking

Event bookings (sound baths, retreats, and similar) are made online via our website. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email. Please ensure your contact details are correct at the time of booking.

3.2 Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel an event booking, please contact us as soon as possible at info@angelasmiththerapy.com. Our cancellation terms are:

More than 21 days before the event: full refund
Between 7 and 21 days before the event: 50% refund
Within 7 days of the event: a refund cannot be offered, but you may gift your place to someone else
Non-attendance without notice: no refund

3.3 Cancellation by Us

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel an event, we will give as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or transfer to an alternative date.

4. Online Shop — Payments, Gift Tokens & Products

4.1 Payments

All online payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. We do not store your card details.

4.2 Gift Tokens

Gift tokens are issued electronically and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. They can be redeemed against event bookings or shop purchases. Gift tokens have no cash value and are non-refundable once issued, except as required by law.

4.3 Physical Products

Where physical products are available in our shop, the following applies:

Orders will be dispatched within 3 working days
Delivery timescales and costs will be shown at checkout
You have the right to cancel a physical goods order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
Items must be returned unused and in original condition. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty
Refunds for returned items will be processed within 14 days of receipt

4.4 Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we will arrange a replacement or full refund.

5. Therapy Services

Therapy appointments are arranged directly by phone or email. These Terms apply to the general use of this website and our online services; separate terms and a client agreement will be provided when you begin therapy.

Therapy provided through Angela Smith Therapy is within the practitioner’s scope of training and professional registration. It is not a substitute for emergency mental health support or medical advice.

6. Confidentiality

Everything discussed in therapy sessions is treated as confidential. Exceptions exist where disclosure is required by law, or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others. These will be explained during your initial session.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, and downloadable materials — belongs to Angela Smith Therapy unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or share content without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Angela Smith Therapy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or our services. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
